A HISTORY AND FUTURE OF EXCITING ENDEAVORS

My experience and passion is in the creation and growing of category-changing businesses. From Fortune 500 companies to scrappy startups, I have been involved in helping business exceed their potential through product design, marketing experiences and iconic brand actions.

My professional career evolved over three distinct stages: Business Consultant, Venture Capitalist and Startup Entrepreneur.

STAGE 1: SENIOR STRATEGY CONSULTANT
My story begins when I was asked to join a new growth and management consultancy called Co:collective. Co:collective created a platform and a process from which we would partner with boutique agencies and startups to solve complex client problems. These partners would join our hybrid teams, and over the course of a few months we would craft strategies, build prototypes, and launch new initiatives to make the client successful. Among the companies I have had the pleasure of working with are Google, Microsoft, GE, Infiniti, Kohl's, YouTube, and NewsCorp. My time at Co:collective had me reviewing new ideas and opportunities on a daily basis, working with developers and designers to build products, and finally advising the leadership of companies on how to best market themselves to a new generation of customer.

STAGE 2: INVESTMENT LEAD
At Co:collective I co-founded and run the Co:ventures division with my partner Andrew Tow. The mandate of the Co:venture division was to source promising startups where we could exchange our services and capital for equity. Once we had closed a deal, we would work with the founders on the direction of the business and act as a guides for the Co:collective team as they helped refine their product, brand, and marketing—all of which allowed me hone the skills I had acquired helping major corporations, to make them more specific and relevant to startups. Along with investing in other startups, the Co:venture division incubated Co:collective's own ideas. One such idea, called Doable, would end up being the next adventure the Co:collective partners would task me with.

STAGE 3: SOFTWARE ENTREPRENEUR
Doable is a new enterprise SaaS platform that allows management to engage employees across the organization to submit and refine ideas so they can be funded for prototype. Think of it as a more rigorous and focused Kickstarter—just for your company. We have had great success through the beta period, with clients such as Macy's and A+E Networks, and are now within over 200 companies. My role as co-founder has evolved over the course of the business. At the start, a lot of my time was spent in product and design development; now, as the business moves out of beta, I have been tasked with overall product management, client consulting, and business growth.
